October 25, 1999, on the grounds of St. Johns College in Annapolis, Maryland, the Nation's last Liberty Tree was cut down. The following pages describe how the Liberty Tree came to be and how we hope to make sections of this last historic tree available to the public. Our deepest desire is to see this legacy preserved and passed on to other generations.
